Next Wednesday (29th July) we are excited to hold our stargazing evening to celebrate Matariki and the launch of our new school houses. Time: Picnicking and food on sale from 5.15pm, stargazing on courts from 6-7pm

Food: The Home & School Association will be selling pizza, sausages, baking and hot chocolate or you are welcome to bring along your own picnic. Eftpos is not available. PLEASE BRING CASH.

Locations: Picnicking and activities will be held in the Kauri block. A map is attached below.

Activities: As well as having the astronomers with their telescopes, we also recommend downloading the SkyView Lite app on your devices. This is a great app for stargazing and there may be a wait for telescopes. Inside the Kauri block we will have face painting (in school house colours), craft activities, space videos playing and Alwyn will be telling traditional Maori stories.

The Home and Schools association will also be selling glow sticks.

We are hoping to go ahead (minor) rain or shine but if we have to postpone we will update the school facebook page on Monday evening. Our postponement date is Wednesday 19th August.
