Kākā Trip
On Wednesday Kākā went to Government House as part of their inquiry focus of Taonga (treasures).
We saw lots of taonga from around the world and well as many from New Zealand. We learnt about many of the Governer Generals and the Coat of Arms they had designed. We also explored how taonga are different for everyone and have different meanings.
It was a fabulous day out for the Kākā team. Thank you to all the parents who volunteered and gave up their time on the day.
