Kia ora whanau. Welcome back everyone. Our Term 4 calendar is already looking really busy with lots of exciting learning programmes being planned. Let's hope we get no interruptions and the summer weather arrives very soon. Congratulations to our Tough Guy/Gal competitors they certainly had a fabulous time on Tuesday. I loved seeing all their happy faces in the photos. Also a big congratulations to our Khandallah Rockets Grade A Netball Team, who were undefeated this season. What a great achievement.

Term 4 staffing update.

-Congratulations to Heather and Lucy U who have won the Within School Leadership positions for our North West Schools Kāhui Ako.

-Kirsty, Karen and Zach (Linda's trainee in Term 3) will be working with Linda in Kōwhai, team teaching to support our new entrant roll growth over this term.

-Leanne will be teaching in Kākā Hub this term as Alastair has resigned to pursue new employment opportunities. We wish Alastair all the best for his future plans.

"I have chosen to resign in order to pursue new employment opportunities. The decision to leave was not easy but new challenges are ahead and I am looking forward to the new adventures that await. I would like to thank all the students, staff and parents that have supported me over the last 4 years and I hope to maintain connections with the community into the future." Alastair.

A reminder to all families Friday October 22nd is a Teacher Only Day. Staff will be collaborating together in teams on assessment moderation and writing students end of year reports.

Our Board of Trustees and Senior Leadership team worked together this week to refresh our 3 year Strategic Plan with the support of Mark from Impact Education. The initial meeting was very productive and we will continue to refine this document ready to share with our school community by the end of the year.

Thank you everyone for your continued support.
