Kererū and Korimako Whanau - “A Day at Raroa”. All Year 6 students

Activities —

On Thursday 30th July our Year 6 students will participate in the annual transition programme at Raroa Intermediate called “A Day at Raroa”. All Year 6 students will go regardless of which school they will be attending in 2020. The format of the day is as follows:

Brief welcome in the school hall 9.10 am
9.30 – 12.10pm Interactive learning centres with Raroa Year 7 students in the Design Production Centre and in class learning spaces
Short tour of the school and lunch in a home room - bring own lunch as usual
Reflection activities
Farewell and dismissed from the hall by 2.15pm

We would like our students to meet us at Raroa Intermediate at 9:00am. Please note, they do not need to come to Khandallah School first. We will meet the students on the blue turf to the right of the driveway and check attendance, before going up to the hall at 9.05am.

At the conclusion of the day, we will walk back to school in time for the end of the school day at 2:55pm. If it’s raining, we will catch the 2:32pm train back to Box Hill and then walk to school. Each child will need to bring $1.50 for the train and a raincoat if wet weather is forecast.

If your child has permission to walk home from Raroa at about 2.30pm, please complete this Google form: https://forms.gle/jZpQZCrHFEtPcqpAA
