For the first time Khandallah School took part in the Total Touch Wellington 6 week tournament with one year 5/6 team playing. For most of this team, this was the first time they’d played touch and they gave it their all each Monday.

They came 3rd in their league and made huge improvements over the term. They also all showed the Khandallah star value of resilience as they played almost every week with grit and determination through spring gales and rain! Ka pai team! Look out for notices about joining a touch rugby team next year for years 1/2, 3/4 and 5/6. The Khandallah school touch rugby team: Thomas, Ethan, Leo, Cade, Abigail, Jeremy, Cohen (also Jesse and Jack). 

Touch rugby starts at Alex Moore Park on Mondays in Term 1 2021 starting 22 February. Touch is a fun and easy game for the kids to learn and is a game for boys and girls from Year 1 to Year 6.
