Kia ora whanau. We have had an action packed week, and it was only 4 days! Our Kapa Haka performance was impressive. Thanks to the support of our parents who came and watched them perform. It was great to provide an authentic audience opportunity for them. They looked great in the Khandallah Kapa Haka uniform and a big thank you to our mums who came in early and helped with dressing them, hair and moko stamping. I would like to give a massive thanks to Stacey Donn who sewed another big batch of uniforms at such short notice to ensure our growing group could all be dressed the same. The performance was filmed and now will be sent with all our cluster schools to be edited and combined into the 2020 St Brigid's Digital Festival.

Year 5 & 6 Road Patrol training for 2021 was also on the same day, we were lucky the weather looked after us too. Community Constable Aaron Dan worked with all the students in groups and will continue to support them next year. We really appreciate all the parents who offer to be rostered on in the mornings to support our students.

The Kauri Athletics at Nairnville Park was a successful day with students collecting house points for participating in all the events. It was great seeing all the parent support we had for this event too, a big thanks to Leanne and Kauri team for the coordination of this big event. A highlight for many was the Staff vs Student team relay. The staff just managed to get to the finish line first, it was an exciting finale. We wish all the students in our Khandallah team all the best for the Inter Zone Athletics competition on Monday at Newtown Park.

Have a great weekend everyone.
