Newsletter —

Kia ora whanau. This week we farewell our teacher trainees Sandra, Joey, Onaitta and Samantha from Victoria University.

Our children have loved working with them and it's always great to see our teachers sharing skills and supporting the future training of teachers across Wellington.Unfortunately their time with us was cut short due to Covid levels, we wish them all the best for their teaching careers.

We have been very lucky to get the Pedal Ready team back this week to complete their programme with Year 5&6 students, even though it's been in freezing conditions!

Thank you to all the parents who have booked in to attend their child's learning conferences with the Kowhai and Matai teams. It is always a great opportunity for your child to share their learning and next steps with you. Week 4 next term will be Kauri teams.

The fencing up the Clark Street path hopefully will be completed next week, thank you for your patience with this.It has made a slight detour for everyone getting into and out of the school.

Last Friday we took a small group of students to Khandallah New World to thank them for supporting our community during Lockdown. This was a positive experience for everyone and really nice to combine with our neighbours St Benedicts,Cashmere and Ngaio schools.

I hope everyone enjoys the new look to our newsletter, a big thanks to Sarah in our office who has worked really hard to get this launched this week.

All the best to everyone for a restful break over the school holidays, I know our teachers are certainly looking forward to these holidays after a long term.

Keep safe and we will look forward to seeing you all back next term.
