Last weekend Marcus competed in the North Wellington Championships at the IPU Tertiary Institute, Palmerston North for Judo.

This included all clubs from the North Island. He competed in 3 categories - Under 10's, his weight division and Open Juniors. Hard mahi paid off and he walked away with 2 Golds and 1 Silver. Currently ranked No 1 for Under 10's and his weight division, he will now head off to the National Champs in October in Rotorua.
