Arts Extravaganza

News Letter —

This term Khandallah school has been working on a range of different areas of the arts curriculum.

In Week 10 (assuming we are at level 1) we are having an arts extravaganza to share our work with you.

The extravaganza will have two parts to it:

Wednesday 23rd September: Kauri families are invited at 5.30pm for an arts evening. Those of you with children in the dance, music or wearable arts group are invited to the hall to watch their performances. Visual arts and drama groups will have their work displayed/ playing for you in the Kauri block. The whole senior syndicate will also have their Maori culture art displayed at this time. More information on the performance and arrangements will be provided closer to the time.

Thursday 24th September: Kowhai and Matai families are invited to a performance in the hall from 1pm- 3pm. Children will either be performing live or have videos of their work playing. Like Kauri, Kowhai and Matai students will also have their Maori culture artwork displayed in their classrooms for parents to check out.

We cannot wait to share our learning with the community!
