Year 5/6 Enterprise Project + Marketday

by Newsletter

This term the Year 5 and 6 students have been learning all about business. As part of this, they have come up with a product to be sold at a whole school marketday on Friday 27th November. Students will be able to purchase from a wide range of things such as spiders, lolly necklaces, raffle tickets, Christmas in a jar and many other things and the money raised will be donated to a chosen charity in the lead up to Christmas. All purchases will be under $5 with some as little as a gold coin. It would be great if children could support these worthwhile causes by bringing a few dollars to spend at the market.

Thanks Khandallah New World

by News Letter

Khandallah New World has kindly donated a wooden kitset garden along with four bags of potting mix and a huge number of My Little Gardens. Mike Walsh kindly delivered the donations to the school. We were absolutely stunned by their generosity. The kitset garden will be thankfully used by the Garden Gang to grow more veggies and flowers. The My Little Gardens will be distributed to the classrooms for the students to grow. Again, thank you so much Mike Walsh and Khandallah New World!
