Kowhai & Matai's Visit to The Carter Observatory

The start of the movie was dark like night time and at the end of the movie it went bright like fire. The class were like mice and the class was whispering. I was so excited my mind exploded. The seats were comfy and soft like fluff and comfy like a cat. I saw the moon, it looked so cool. I learnt that the sun is a star. I love Space Place. By James

Khandallah School Cross Country Results

On Monday 27th July, we were lucky with the weather and had a dry, relatively non windy or wet day. We were well supported by parents and the students had a fun day. Congratulations to everyone for giving it a go and a big well done to all the following runners who either went to Northern Zones (Seniors) or going to the Junior Cross Country at Amesbury on Tuesday, 8th September.

Bake Sale

The Bake Sale was a huge success and raised $352.80 for the Wellington Soup Kitchen, providing food for homeless people. A big thanks to our student organisers : Bella, Indy, Yasmin, Lottie, Rebecca F, Grace, Emily C, MacKenzie and Lucy T.

Northern Zone Cross Country

On Friday 31st of July, Khandallah brought a team of 30 students to compete in the Northern Zone Cross Country against the other 13 schools in our zone. We had some amazing results and everyone finished the course with a great big smile on their face.

Book Fair is here

Week 4 - 10th to 14th August - Open 2pm to 4pm (Monday, Thursday, Friday), Late nights 2pm to 6pm (Tuesday & Wednesday). This year the book fair is in the library and timed to coincide with three way learning conferences. Please come and join us before or after your conference. Eft-pos available and all proceeds benefit the library.
