Pomare
We have three satellite classes at Pomare School — Tui, Kakapo and Ruru. These are based within Pomare School but run by Kimi Ora School staff. Our classrooms have their own outdoor space but are accessed through the main reception.
Students at our Pomare Satellite also spend time at the base school in Naenae where they access the Hydrotherapy Pool, join assemblies and special events.

Manaaki
Our satellite at Manaaki is a classroom based within the Manaaki Ability Trust building but run by Kimi Ora School staff. This satellite is for some of our older students who are learning more independence.
The students at Manaaki have a holistic learning programme that incorporates all aspects of the New Zealand Curriculum and is enhanced through the real-life experiences and opportunities of being out in the community. This includes accessing the gym facilities, cooking and craft groups, grocery shopping, work experience and learning to get out and about in the community as independently as possible.
