The 1st XI boys finished their best ever placing at the National Tournament in over 20 years to finish 15th overall.

Results were as follows;V Avondale won 5-0, V Nelson lost 0-3, V Napier Boys' 1-1 Qualified for Top 16 against high quality opposition.  V Mount Albert Grammar lost 0-2, V Hamilton Boys lost 0-4, V Wellington College lost 0-5, V St Paul’s (Hamilton) won 2-1, huge effort from the 16 players with most of the week played on turf rather than grass. Farewell to Rhys Quarrell, Aaron Allan, Keita Rudd & Tyrin Smith, thank you for your efforts to King’s Football over the last five years. Thanks also to Terry Parle, Terry Boylan for their coaching efforts throughout the year.
