Third National Jiu-jitsu Title

Sharron Mccormack —

Luke Brinkley became National Champion in the Juvenile Men Green - 73kg at the NZ Grappler No Gi Nationals held in Auckland over the weekend for Jiu-jitsu.

The Green Division is a belt level above his own, so an outstanding result.

This is Luke's third National Jiu-jitsu title this season.

Luke is the current National Champion in the following divisions -

🏅Juvenile Men No Gi Green - 73kg

🏅Juvenile Men Orange Gi - 74.8kg

🏅 Boys Orange Teen Gi - 68.9kg

Super achievement.

It was also great to see former student Rayyan Balasmeh again who also took out a National Title winning the Juvenile Mens No Gi White - 86.6kg division.

There were over 750 competitors at this event over the weekend.

Congratulations King's Men!
