Shirley Boys’ High School Interschool
King’s travelled to Christchurch on Sunday to compete against Shirley Boys' High School (SBHS) in the last of our summer exchanges.
The clashes were very tight affairs and resulted in some very tight finishes.
Unfortunately, on Monday the weather gods were against us, but everyone soldiered on to try and get their games completed.
King’s High School won the two Water Polo games, senior Touch won two games and drew one game.
Softball had a loss and then a washout. Cricket’s senior and junior fixtures resulted in only being able to play one day fixtures which resulted in wins to SBHS.
Thanks to all the staff that gave up their time and to the SBHS parents for billeting our lads and their staff for all the organisation of the two days of competition.
