Last Saturday Jak Macdonald became the 548th player to represent the King’s 1st Cricket XI.

We were lucky that Max Chu, the NZ U19 and Otago Volts Wicket-Keeper was on hand to make the presentation. Max gave up his Sunday afternoons during most of 2020 to coach Jak who had been identified as the school's next 1st XI Wicket Keeper.

Jak got off to a great start snatching two catches behind the wickets in what was a tidy debut for him.

It was awesome that his mum, Amelia-Kate and dad, Stewart were on hand for the presentation.
