Sense of Time celebrated the release of their debut self titled EP last Saturday

Kaine Harington —

Not only did their three song recording hit all of the streaming services, but they performed to a packed house at Te Whare o Rukutia to mark the occasion.

The audience was treated to an hour long set of all original material and to cap the night off, they performed their EP start to finish. The Allophones and Buddy were fantastic support acts, who also dazzled the crowd with original music.

Prior to the release of this music Sense of Time were also highly commended for their performances throughout the Smokefree Rockquest Semi Finals.

As a Semi-Finalist, they travelled to Christchurch to perform a set of original songs live in Orange Studios. This set was filmed and sent to the judges who chose the national finalists to perform in Auckland.

This puts them in the top 15 acts (out of roughly 800) in the nation and is the best result ever achieved by a band of King's men. We commend them on their efforts throughout the competition, showing their skills in numerous passionate and professional performances.
