Taylor Smith and Zaine Murdoch (both in Year 10) broke school records at the athletics sports day last week.

Taylor Smith broke the Javelin record set in 1979 by 2.08m and Zaine Murdoch bet the Shot Put record by .3m.

Other impressive results from the day were:

Jay Davis' clean sweep of the U16 age group events; 1st in the 100m, 200m, Long Jump, High Jump and 100m Hurdles.

Liam Condliffe - 1st in U19 Long Jump, High Jump and 100m Hurdles

Nathan Hastie - 1st in U19 400m, Discus and Javelin

Flynn Murdoch - 1st in 100m & 200m

Ollie Young - 1st in U16 800m & 1500m

Corey Pope - 1st in U14 100m & 200m

Noah McDowell - 1st in U14 1500m & Long Jump

Zaine Murdoch - 1st in Discus & Shot Put
