King's Men Society gets boys dancing

Bradley Scott —

The first King's Men Society event for Year 12 & 13 students has been running for the last three weeks, with students receiving Rock'n'Roll Lessons in the lead up to the School Formal on June 30th.

The lessons have been provided by the Dunedin Rock’n’Roll Revival Club, which operates out of the South Dunedin Community Hall. Some students have brought along their Formal date for early dancing practice together, while others have come and danced with one another, or members of the public! An enjoyable time was had by all who attended.

Further events are coming, including "Basic Car Maintenance” provided by the Otago Polytechnic and "Food for Flatters" as part of the “Independent Man” module.

Please see Mr Scott for further details.
