We were thrilled to once again play host to the Otago Interschool Cross Country Caversham Relays which is a 2km course completed by teams of four. 

After a miserable week weather-wise, the weather gods took mercy on King’s and conditions were great! 

It was awesome to see our young men giving their all and bringing in some great results. Of particular note was the top senior team made up of Paddy Tyrrell, Shelby Thomson, Alex MacDonald and Hugh Jack who took out the senior race – Hugh was the third-fastest runner of the day. 

Also pleasing was the top junior team of Joshua Scott, Dan Kelleher, Zak Chisholm and Massimo Bolletta who were placed second. 

Dan Kelleher of Year 9 was our top junior runner of the day – well done Dan! We now look forward to heading to Milton for the next relay of the series.
