A fierce game of softball

Teresa Robertson —

Otago Senior Men's Softball team (Otago Whatukura) wins the Jefferies Cup, not seen since 1993.

Nathan Hill (Yr 12) was part of what was a fantastic Jefferies Cup win with the Otago Senior Men's Softball team.   Winning the men’s South Island Interprovincial tournament had been a long wait!

In addition to this, our own King's High School Softball team has won the Otago Secondary School's pre Christmas competition which is a great result for our young team who Nathan is also a part of.

A number of former King's High School players have been part of that Otago team and have helped win three South Island Secondary Schools titles for King's and also a fifth National placing. Those players are Mitchell Finnie, Nelson Yorston, James Mathieson and Logan Herbert.

Well done on this achievement.
