Old Boy, Jonah Smith won the Dunedin Marathon in a time of 2:33:59, he had a close race but came through in the end.

In addition, Ezekiel Stewart ran his first half Marathon and came in 14th in a time of 1:20:19.

And finally, a further addition to the Doha 2019 World Championships Team has been confirmed with Caden Shields in the Marathon event. This brings the team to a total of 13 athletes preparing to compete in Doha.
