The NZ Secondary Schools Triathlon Championship took place on the 30th March at stunning Glendhu Bay, Wanaka.

It was a frosty and cold start to the day but luckily the sun came out to create perfect conditions for both competitors and spectators.

 Over 75 secondary schools from across both the North and South Island had students competing, creating the most competitive fields since the Covid lockdowns.

Dan Kelleher and George Fa’asega ( Year 10) competed in the U16 Individual Event and represented their school with distinction but unfortunately finished outside the podium places.
