Close finish in Theatresports final

Jo Harford —

It was a nail-biting finish at the Otago Theatresports Competition held at the Playhouse Theatre last Saturday.

King's, along with finalists, John McGlashan College, Logan Park High School and South Otago High School battled it out for 1st place with John McGlashan nudging us away from the win by half a point.

The whole team made a strong effort and wowed the audience with some impressive Improv, however, the final round was the decider and it didn't go our way.

Congratulations to the team, Corey Symon (Captain), Jamie Honey, Luc Morley-Stephenson and Zac Bell who have had a great season, entertaining folk from the South to the North...of Dunedin.

A special thanks to Corey Symon who has captained the team for three years, encouraging younger players and giving 100% to the stage. You'll be missed.
