Former Kingsmen in the 17th Pacific Games, Honiara
Two former students of King's High School are competing in the 17th Pacific Games that is being held in the Solomon Islands.
Luke Salisbury and Kaleb de Groot-Green are representing Samoa in these competitions, which started on the 19th of November and ends on the 2nd of December.
What was initially called “South Pacific Games”, started in 1963 and are held every four years. Currently, the competition boasts twenty-two Pacific Island countries facilitating twenty-four different sports and although this is a far cry from the cooler temperatures of Dunedin, both have thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
