Latest from the Library

Debbie Vercoe —

The last few weeks have been a flurry of activity with students returning books and preparing the shelves for the annual stocktake.

Despite many reminders and messages, there are a number of books yet to be returned and these are now assumed to be lost and have been added to your sons' school account for payment. I would rather have the books back, so any efforts to retrieve and return the books will be greatly appreciated and will be removed from your sons' account. Please return any books to the School Office.

I am very pleased to report that 50 students have signed up for the summer reading programme. This enables students to issue a number of books for the holidays. I am currently compiling the book bags and they will be available for students to collect on Tuesday, December 7th. These books are due to be returned in the first week of Term 1, 2022.

A reminder that students also have access to a huge range of ebooks by downloading the eplatform app and using their King’s High School login and password.

It has been a busy and fun year in the Library. I’ve learned a great deal about all sorts of everything and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the opportunities to share the joys of reading with so many wonderful people. Bring on 2022!

Have a safe and enjoyable holiday and hopefully make time to read some excellent books, (My reading pile is growing by the day).
