At this week’s assembly we celebrated Johan Lokman’s recent success in the Otaru Sister City Society’s annual Speech Competition.

Competitors from Otago and Southland presented three minute speeches in Japanese in front of a panel of judges who then asked the students questions in Japanese based on their presentations. Johan spoke extremely well and won the Senior Alternative Category.
