The Year 10 Surf Week was a cracker with great temps and great waves all week. Even the old fellas got a couple of waves, (see below for the stylish lines of Mr Maze.)

The week started with frothy waves at Smails Beach, where the boys got a good sense of the power of the Southern Ocean as they tried to get to their feet for the first time (for many).

The best day of the week was Thursday at ‘Blue Tops’ between Brighton and Taieri Mouth. Here the sun came out and a consistent offshore wind groomed the wave faces.

We capped the week off with an awesome rock pool jumping session at Brighton. A big thanks to Mr Davis in the Outdoor Education Department for lending us the trailer and most of the gear.
