Youth Week Awards are given to five Duke of Edinburgh participants throughout NZ every year to celebrate their exceptional work.

Declan has completed his Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award, is about to begin his Silver and has just finished a run of incredible performances for 'The Little Shop of Horrors' Production at King's High School. Cast as the evil dentist character, Orin Scrivello, Declan has a special ability to bring characters to life with humour and vibrancy. Declan has also just been cast as Scar in Taieri Musical's upcoming season of 'The Lion King Jnr.'
