We would like to thank all King's students, families, staff and the community who made a contribution to this appeal.

When Declan Viljoen (WHi) heard that someone had brought in over 40 cans for the annual 'Octacan' charity collection, he made it his personal goal to beat that number. 

Declan and a number of other Junior students braved the cold weather and set off knocking on the doors.  The generous people of Dunedin were clearly impressed with the student's enthusiasm and determination. Declan was able to easily surpass his 40 can target. 

Well done to their efforts and all our King's boys for their community spirit.  

The items will go to disadvantaged individuals and families within the community who are in need of assistance.
