On Saturday the 24th June, almost 100 students from local and rural schools converged upon the Dunedin City Baptist Church building for the annual Regional Robocup Competition. 

Hamish Cadzow, Joshua Rademeyer, JD Rademeyer and Matthew Wong achieved 1st place in the Senior Robotic Soccer event, beating four other teams from local schools and clubs, including a huge 8-1 victory against the University Mechatronics High School Club.
Samuel Blackwood and William Grounds received 1st place in Senior Search and Rescue. Riley Symon and Mitchell Lloyd created "Crane Zilla" a gigantic LEGO crane which performed various maneuvers and came 2nd in the Robotic Theatre event. Ocean Allemann and Christian Macalisang overcame many difficulties with their robot to gain 3rd place in the Premiere Search and Rescue event.
