Leibniz Privatschule visit King's High School 2024
This week we have welcomed students from Leibniz Privatschule in Germany, a tradition that has been ongoing for several years. Along with Queen’s High School, we welcomed 12 boys and 23 girls, accompanied by their three teachers. King’s are incredibly proud of the long-standing relationship with the teachers and students at Leibniz Private School and look forward to their ongoing visits.
The students were delighted by the facilities available at King’s, particularly the gym and Hockey Turf. Our guests spent time in a variety of classes over the week where the teachers and students of King’s have supported their participation in learning opportunities such as Science, Digital technology, Food and Nutrition, Outdoor Education, Music and Touch Rugby.
Several students guided our visitors in learning the Haka, which is an experience that the Leibniz students fully embraced, and a fantastic way to start their week here at King’s.
I’d like to extend thanks to the students at King’s for supporting our visiting students this week. This week would not have been possible if it wasn’t for the enthusiasm and flexibility of the teachers - I know that the Leibniz students experienced many fantastic learning opportunities that has enriched their experience of a week at King’s High School.
Thank you
