South Island Secondary Schools Competition
Records were broken, personal bests were reached and our boys brought home some excellent results at last weekend's competition.
A fabulous weekend was had by King’s athletes at the South Island Secondary School Competition.
I would like to thank the parents and supporters who came down and encouraged the King’s athletes and helped at the High Jump. I would also like to make special mention to a group of athletes who helped at the Discus on short notice. They gave up time when they could be watching and supported other athletes to ensure the Discus ran smoothly. They were; Steve Salelea, Mahonri Auva’a, Wilhelm Kunze, Gregor Clarkson, Jordan Frost, Bradley McPate and Alex Brown.
We are now looking forward to taking an exciting and accomplished team to the Nationals in Hastings at the end of the year
