Level 3 Media Studies students participated in The Outlook for Someday Leaders Filmmaking Workshop on Wednesday.

Student filmmakers Dalton Goodfellow, Lucas Luskie, Caleb Capil, Zed Ramsay, Alex Petersen-Sharp and Max Wassell met two young filmmakers, Annie Duckworth and Ali Burns in an online workshop, who shared their own industry experience and some valuable tips with the boys. 

The students learnt about story development, direction and production design through hands-on activities.

The project is part of an annual National Film Challenge to make a short movie about sustainability.

The challenge is open to any students who are interested in filmmaking and gives opportunities to develop, uplift and amplify the voices of Aoteaoroa's young people nationwide.
