A taste of Japan

On Tuesday Mrs Baker and her Y10 Japanese students went to the foods room and made Okonomiyaki.

This was Hiroshima style, with cabbage, bacon and corn and it had noodles mixed into the batter. This was then topped off with Okonomiyaki sauce, Japanese mayonnaise, fish flakes and seaweed. As evident from the empty plates, the boys enjoyed making this. The challenge for the boys is to try and re-create this at home over the holidays.
