Year 9 and Year 10 Values Books winning classes in Term 3

Over the last two and a half weeks, our Year 9 and Year 10 Liaison Classes have been competing amongst each other to gather the most points – to become one of the Top 2 Liaison Classes for Term 3.

For each lesson, staff have ranked their classes with either a (1), (2) or (3) points for five different categories. A maximum of 15 points per lesson, for five periods a day.

The categories include:

Start of lesson:

  • Students are all lined up
  • Class is settled when entering
  • Books (including diaries) are out
  • Students are ready for the lesson to start.

Team work:

  • Supportive of each other
  • Positive encouragement with others.

Respectful interactions with each other during the lesson, class work/group work:

  • Positivity shown within the lesson
  • Encouraging others.

Engagement in lesson:

  • Attitude
  • Behaviour
  • Effort
  • Focus.

Manners and helpfulness, were they exhibited.

The winning Liaison Classes for both Year 9 and Year 10 enjoyed a lunch shout this Wednesday 20th September.

  • Most improved Year 9 Class – 9RB
  • Top Year 10 Class – 10CO
  • Most improved Year 10 Class – 10JP
