The NZIBO Practical Training Camp was an intense eight days of Biology. 

Throughout the two stages of the camp - a practical section based at Waikato University and a theory section based in Auckland, we experienced a wide range of biological disciplines ranging from molecular biotechnology to plant anatomy and dissections. Each day had multiple labs and incredible speakers, featuring topics such as bacteriophage biocontrol, protein simulations, vertebrate management and arctic pollinators. 

Everyone at camp, whether student or teacher, thoroughly enjoyed themselves, and it was an absolutely amazing experience to attend. Being exposed to diverse fields outside medicine was eye-opening.
