Our Spanish classes have been working hard and managing to have fun at the same time, which is always the goal of language learning. 

Our Level 1 class have been covering vocab about typical Spanish food and learning how to order at a restaurant. We set the room up as if we were sitting at tables in a restaurant and the students took turns at being waiters. Ms Munn promises that next time there will be actual food!

9Jf's Spanish unit culminated in the presentation of individual research on a cultural topic of their choosing. We learnt plenty about Spanish Football Clubs - with strong allegiances apparent! Hugh Askerud had the whole class up on their feet with his presentation on Spanish Bullfighting, which included his own devised team game. The Matadors won by a significant margin, but we all felt they had an unfair advantage given that the bulls were on their hands and knees!
