Every year, the Student Council collects cans on behalf of King’s High School to donate as our contribution to Octocan, an annual food drive organised by Presbyterian Support Otago.

The cans are distributed to those in our wider Dunedin community who need support with food, especially in these cold Winter months.

Our collection period will run from Tuesday 6th June through to Tuesday 20th June. During this time, we ask that boys bring in cans of food where possible to donate to this worthwhile cause. The collection will take place during Group Time.

If you would like to bring in extra cans, the office will also have a donation box to collect additional cans.
