We were thrilled to recently receive the news that Matthew Wong (Old Boy 2015-2019) was awarded one of only five New Zealand Chinese Association Scholarships to go towards his tertiary studies.

This was on the back of his impressive results in the NZQA Scholarship Exams and his stellar community service. Matthew's performances in the Scholarship Exams speak for themselves: he was graded as being in the top 3% in the country in each for English, Calculus and Physics in 2019. 

He is now studying a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Maths at the University of Otago and is enjoying his year living at Carrington College. Well done Matthew - we are proud of you and your achievements!
