Success in international Maths Competition

John Salisbury —

The Australian Maths Competition is the largest school competition in the world, with around 600,000 students participating from many countries.

There are 30 questions to attempt, starting out as difficult and ending up extremely challenging. All our students who entered got answers correct, which is an achievement in itself, below are those who performed at an even higher level still.

A Credit Award is given to those in the top 50% of competitors.

Those in the top 25% gain a Distinction Award and the students in the top 5% are awarded a High Distinction.

High Distinction: George Bates and Samuel Blackwood

Distinction: Bailey Wills and Scott Butler Pollock
