We had a really successful day at the Dunedin Youth Jazz Festival on Friday, coming away with six different awards.

• The Jazz Band was awarded the highly commended award in the Big Band section.
• King’s Jazz Combo was awarded 'runner up' in the Combo comp.
• Joshua Tuiavii - Award for Best performance on the drumkit - the adjudicator commented highly on his flawless performance.
• Nikhil Rawat - Award for Best performance on Baritone saxophone.
• Ryan McCleery - Award for the most promising alto saxophonist.
• Marshall Klenner - Award for the most promising pianist.

We are all very proud of these talented young men.
