I am Miss Harrex, the new librarian for 2020. I’ve been living locally, for most of the last 20 years. When I’m not at work or reading, I love cooking for dinner parties – I’ve even done one with a literary theme – I also love spending time with my family, including my son who is an avid reader himself.

In so many ways books are my life. I love finding the right book for someone to read, so if you are looking for a book and you need a hand finding it, come talk to me and we’ll go on an adventure to find your book. 

I’ve not long finished reading The Palace Job by Patrick Weekes, and I can highly recommend it, I love to be surprised by a book that you think is going to be good and turns out to be spectacular. I’d love to hear about your favourite books, feel free to drop by the Library and tell me all about it.
