The election for the 2021 Student Trustee was held last week. Due to the current Alert Levels, we ran the voting a different way and it proved very popular with 81% of the school voting. Well done!

Congratulations to John Warman who is now the Board of Trustees, Student Trustee for the 2021/2022 year. John will learn how governance works within the school and be part of the team that has a pivotal role in the management of the school.

I want to acknowledge all the candidates. It takes courage to put your name forward. Mohamad Ali said, “He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life.”

I must also take the time to thank Ben Hawke for his contribution over the last 12 months. I know the Board were impressed with his abilities and have enjoyed having Ben in the role.
