The boys of 9Ko demonstrate that Science in the home is possible and great fun.

This week’s assignment involved the boys embracing their creative side, and building a model of the cell. The cell is the basic building block of life, but can usually only be seen under a microscope. 

The boys had to think hard about how they could use items found around their house to build a model which accurately represented the cell.

Elijah decided that he would break out the watercolours and do a painting of a cell.

Ethan utilised his skills with video games to create a cell in Minecraft.

Lachie took over the kitchen and made a very tasty looking edible cell.

Alex took the assignment literally and appears to have used almost everything he could find in the house.
