NZQA Scholarship Success

Cam McPhail —

Another set of excellent NZQA Scholarship results.

In the 2023 NZQA Scholarship exams, nineteen individual students attained a total of 30 Scholarships across fourteen different subject areas.

Attaining a Scholarship puts these students in the top 3% in New Zealand in their subject area(s), and the school itself, in the top tier of South Island Secondary Schools and New Zealand Boys’ Schools.

Significantly, of our nineteen Scholarship winners, six were Year 12 students who amassed a total of 10 Scholarships between them, and three were Year 11 students, each attaining a single Scholarship.

Below are our 2023 Scholarship winners:

  • Massimo Pezzuto - 5 - Biology, Classical Studies, English, Geography, History
