This year the Nationals were held in Dunedin. It started on Friday November 30th, with the qualifying rounds being held over two days and the finals on Sunday.

We had a young team this year with many Year 11 athletes having to step up and compete with the Year 13’s. Also Year 9’s competing against Year 10’s. This has given them a base on which to work on for next year. 

The results were good with the Junior Under 15, 4 x 100m Relay Team, retaining the title for another year with a run just short of the record of last year’s team. 

Jay Davis had a great weekend, he entered 6 events,  gaining medals in two. He was a little exhausted when he ran in the Junior 4 x 400m to finish the athletics meet.

23rd: Junior 4km Road Race; Ezekiel Stewart
