The culmination of the Year 9 English Programme this week was a James K. Baxter Poetry Competition.

While taking part in the Year 9 Programme, students practised and performed a Baxter poem of their choice. On Thursday morning, many boys (pictured) performed their poem in front of all Year 9s. This was a massive achievement for many of the students and took a lot of confidence. Congratulations to all boys who performed.
