With King's High School's involvement in Smokefree Rockquest coming to a close for another year, it is time to celebrate some student successes.

All five of the acts who competed received encouraging feedback from the judges and certainly embodied Personal Excellence. Their video submissions can be seen here: https://smokefreerockquest.co.nz/otago/

The prizes picked up throughout the competition are as follows:

• M.C.S - Winners of Tangata Beats (Otago Regional Final)
• Te Kahurangi McLean (M.C.S) - Best Vocals (Otago Regional Final)
• Zed Ramsay (Subject95) - Best Use Of Electronics (Otago Regional Final)

Preparations for next year's competition (fingers crossed for live events again!!) are under way already, so get your mates together, book a practice room and start writing your next big hit!
