"The best way to observe a fish is to become a fish" - Jacques Cousteau
Students from Year 12 and 13 Earth and Space Science - as well as the Year 10 Scuba Camp - got to spend some time with the fishes over the last few weeks.
Several students earned NCEA credits by completing a Snorkeling Course which culminated with a dive at Wellers Rock. A few of them even got to swim right next to a Sea Lion in its natural habitat. Others got to see what it is like to breathe underwater with a Discover Scuba Diving Course.
All of them had a great time and are excited to continue exploring the ocean.
